Do you seek balance, divine connection and inspiration in your day-to-day life? Join us as we embody the Tree of Life, divine attributes (Sefirot/ סְפִירוֹת) that map onto the body, based upon the Kabbalistic Tree of Life.

During the seven weeks between the 2nd day of Passover (leaving Egypt) and holiday of Shavuot (receiving Torah), we engage in a practice of Counting of the Omer, we study and purify one of the seven lower Sefirot each week, in the order that they appear on a map of the body, beginning with Hesed (Lovingkindness) and ending with Malchut (Physical Divinity).

When we take the Sefirot into embodied practice, we can view the layout of the map as a guideline for balance. We balance the right and left sides, with the center pillar of Keter, Tiferet, Yesod and Malchut serving as the central line of balance in the body.

Each class will include brief guided movement sequences for warming up, as well as time for free-form dance, guided by carefully curated playlists and infused with Jewish wisdom teachings for the week’s attribute(s).
