Deepen your personal embodied spiritual practice in community with our small committed Rosh Hodesh group. We dive deep into a specific theme each month, and with a carefully curated soundscape, conscious free form dance, art, song, and writing, we find inspiration and support for our day-to-day lives.

Embody and explore seasonal themes related to the months and holidays on the Hebrew calendar in a beautiful nurturing dance space with open windows and views of trees, sky, moon and stars.

This is a committed group that meets for 10 months. All faiths welcome! The themes are informed by the cycle of the months of the Hebrew Calendar and the teachings are universal.

Group members receive access to playlists & teachings each month, whether or not you can attend in person, with opportunities for additional connection, practice and study if desired.

Exact location in Berkeley will be shared upon registration.

What our dancers say about our circles:

“I leave with a feeling of renewal, inspiration and readiness to face the month.”

“Our dance circle has been an inspirational and opening experience for me. It has helped me connect to my body, spirit, and soul.”

“I have learned a way to embody ancient Jewish teachings into my being.”

“I feel myself sinking into my body and learning things in a non-verbal way. Often this leads to greater integration than just talking or thinking about something.”
