Dancing the Sacred Sefirot

Wednesday Evenings, April 16, 23, 30; May 7, 14, 21, 28

Come dance with us as we explore the Sefirot in our bodies and in our lives. There are no steps to learn, no experience needed.

Each week between Passover/Liberation and Shavuot/Revelation on the Hebrew Calendar, we dance to a theme-based soundscape as we embody each of the Seven Sefirot - divine qualities /attributes described in the Kabbalistic Tree of Life: Hesed (loving-kindness, flow), Gevurah (strength, structure), Tiferet (beauty, balance), Netzach (perseverance, endurance), Hod (humility, gratitude), Yesod (foundation, life-energy), and Malchut (divine manifestation here on earth).

We dance whatever our bodies want to express, rather than prescribed steps, to deepen our embodied experience of these qualities, to access our inner knowing and expression, to connect with one another, to find inner balance and to have fun!

Each evening is a transformational conscious dance experience infused with teachings, song, sharing, drawing and writing.

7:30 – 9:30 pm 

Register: (For series only): $175 (student/limited income); $245 (standard fee); $350 (help another)

We reserve spots based upon a first come, first-served basis. Please contact Julie if the program fee is prohibitive.  A couple of work exchange slots are available at a lower rate.  Email Julie ASAP if you are interested in this option.
