EJW Network Community Gathering (Tishrei): Embody Your Unique Design in the New Year

EJW Network Community Gathering (Tishrei)

Embody Your Unique Design in the New Year

Tuesday, Sept 12, 2023
4pm PST | 7pm EST

Guided by Bri Rubin

Have you heard of the Human Design System? Originally downloaded by a Jewish man who had an 8-day mystical encounter with ‘The Voice’, Human Design (HD) is a synthesis of several ancient and modern systems: Astrology, Kabbalah, the I’ching, the chakras, along with modern science and genetics. Essentially, Human Design is an experiment that empowers us to discover how we are each uniquely designed to connect to the wisdom of our bodies and align with our most authentic lives.

Rosh HaShanah is a time of realignment with creation and with the purpose of creation. As we are approaching the High Holidays, reflecting on the past year and contemplating how we would like to show up and what we would like to create in the year ahead, HD can serve as a powerful ally in this process!

What to Bring: This session will open with Yoga/Movement - please clear a space to move, and bring a yoga mat if possible.

Bri Rubin is a Human Design specialist and coach. She is also an artist and yoga teacher with over a decade of devotion to investigating and experimenting with countless ancient and modern spiritual technologies. Prior to learning about Human Design, she worked for two years as the Innovation Specialist at Long Beach Hillel. She is fascinated by the art and science of surrender, and passionate about empowering creative individuals to awaken their most authentic expression. Bri is a Founding Member and Advisor to the EJW Network.

EJW Community Gatherings are offered monthly as part of the Embodied Jewish Wisdom Network. Become a member to attend these events live, or to view after, and connect with our growing community!

We gather once a month as close to Rosh Chodesh (the New Moon) as possible. Each month, different members of our collective guide us in creative, connective Jewish movement & embodied text study experiences. Embodiment modalities include Alexander Technique, Authentic Movement, Body-Mind Centering, Chanting, Dance, Embodied Mindfulness, Qi Gong, Yoga and more! Recordings are made available within one week of each event.
