Dancing the Sacred Sefirot:  From Liberation to Revelation

Tuesday Evenings, April 23 – June 4

With Julie Emden & Aliza Rothman Labowitz

Come dance with us as we explore the Sefirot in our bodies and in our lives. There are no steps to learn, no experience needed - all faiths and genders are welcome.

Each week between Passover/Liberation and Shavuot/Revelation on the Hebrew Calendar, we dance to a theme-based soundscape as we dive into exploring one of the Seven Sefirot - divine qualities /attributes described in the Kabbalistic Tree of Life: Chesed (loving-kindness), Gevurah (strength, judgment, limits), Tiferet (beauty, harmony), Netzach (perseverance, endurance), Hod (humility, gratitude), Yesod (foundation, creativity, sexuality), and Malchut (divine manifestation here on earth).

We dance whatever our bodies want to express, rather than prescribed steps, to deepen our embodied experience of these qualities, to access our inner knowing and expression, to connect with one another, to find inner balance and to have fun! Each evening is a transformational conscious dance experience infused with teachings, song, sharing, drawing and writing.
