In the Jewish mystical tradition, our sages teach that when we light the Hanukkah candles, we rekindle an eternal hidden light (אוֹר הַגָּנוּז/Or HaGanuz), the light of creation, that is always present within the world and within each of us. Join us in community with gentle movement, devotional chant and contemplative candle lighting as we kindle the lights on the first day of Hanukkah.
This event is a gift offering - free and open to all! Tax deductible donations to Embodied Jewish Learning in lieu of workshop fees may be made to our fiscal sponsor, UpStart, in support of Embodied Jewish Learning and the Embodied Jewish Wisdom Network.
*Be sure to select ‘Embodied Jewish Learning’ from the ‘Designation’ drop down menu.
