The Jewish people received the divine gift of constant renewal when they left Egypt. The Talmud teaches us that gifts that are given from Above are forever. In this session we will seek out the divine gift of renewal flowing through the Torah texts of chassidic masters and our beating hearts through study of holy teachings and the practice of yoga.

Diane Bloomfield is the creator of Torah Yoga and the author of two books: Torah Yoga: Experiencing Jewish Wisdom through Classic Postures and Playing with Fire: Secret Hebrew Doorways to the Jewish Soul.Diane lives in Jerusalem where she teaches Torah and Torah Yoga classes both live and on the web. Over the past thirty years she has taught at retreats and workshops throughout the United States and Canada. She is a certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor and a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist.

We gather once a month as close to Rosh Chodesh (the New Moon) as possible. Each month, different members of our collective guide us in creative, connective Jewish movement & embodied text study experiences. Embodiment modalities include Alexander Technique, Authentic Movement, Body-Mind Centering, Chanting, Dance, Embodied Mindfulness, Qi Gong, Yoga and more! Recordings are made available within one week of each event.
