Equanimity is the personal attribute of steady composure and calm in the face of even difficult situations and life circumstances. In these unprecedented times, these tools are needed now more than ever.
Join us as we engage in practices to cultivate equanimity through meditation and yoga infused with Jewish wisdom teachings, text study, and periods of silence and song.

Offered by Embodied JewishLearning, Shalem, the Jewish Wellness Initiative of the Peninsula JCC, the Addison-Penzak JCC, and the Oshman Family JCC.
Shalem was created as a collaboration between the Peninsula JCC and Embodied Jewish Learning. The Addison-Penzak JCC and the Oshman Family JCC are now partners in this initiative, and are joining together to promote wellness and well-being infused with Jewish wisdom to help support the entire community in times when these tools are greatly needed.
Faculty includes Rabbi Lavey Derby, Julie Emden, Tracey Green, Scott Green, Rabbi Laurie Matzkin and Tova Birnbaum.
