EJL/EJW Virtual Events Agreement
Safety & Zoom Protocol: Please review the below information. Your attendance to our programs confirms your agreement to these terms.
Safety
Please take care of yourselves and if anything offered is not right for your body, do what is best for you! You are the authority for your practice and your body. By participating you agree to take full responsibility for your own body’s needs.
Set Up
Set up your space with a clear floor and space to move around with ease. You may want to bring Yoga props (mat, blankets, blocks and strap) for Yoga classes if you have them, or a blanket/pillows to lie down and rest at the end of other classes, but this is not necessary. WEAR/BRING: Wear comfortable layered clothing in which you can easily move, bring a journal and pen/pencil, and have a bottle/glass of water nearby.
Waiver
Please review our waiver. Your attendance to our programs confirms your agreement to this document and acceptance of its terms. There is no need to sign or print the document.
Zoom
**Please change your name on your zoom profile to the same first and last name you used when you registered for the workshop.** This is a security measure in order to be admitted from the waiting room.
Version/App Updates: Please keep your zoom application up-to-date on both your phone and computer in order to have access to the latest version and features of Zoom. Visit this link for more info on updating zoom.
Video On: Please turn your video on upon arrival so we can gather and see one another. Then you can keep your video on or off as you wish during the practice. Some of us want to see and be seen to feel more connected to the community during the time together, some of us prefer to receive the teachings without having to do anything other than to listen and follow. The video button is on the bottom left corner of your screen. You click on it to turn it on and off.
Microphones Off: As you enter the meeting, your mic will be automatically muted. We will keep our mics on mute, but there is a 'chat' function that we use throughout classes. The mute button is at the very bottom left corner of your screen. You click on it to turn it on when you speak and then click it again to turn it off after you speak.
Viewing the leaders: During the practices you can set your screen to 'speaker' view at the top right if you like, but it’s not necessary. Otherwise, you can set your meeting to 'gallery' view and see all of us moving together.
